The rugged limbs of this Cypress and the gnarled trunk in the foreground give an indication of the many storms that have battered this beautiful coastline.  This tree is one of my favorites along the 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, California.

This is the official Blog of Patrick V Photography. We specialize in Wedding and Special Event photography. However, as this is my blog, I can post anything I want!  And that means photographs that have absolutely nothing to do with weddings!

The above picture was taken on Catalina Island off the coast of California.  The vibrant colors of the paddle boats in the early morning sun, with a clear blue sky in the background just begged me to take this shot.
